Kathleen E. (Kraus) Klein

Kathleen E. Klein, age 81 of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI. She was born on March 23, 1942, daughter of the late Clarence and Marcella (Wagner) Kraus. On December 6, 1974, she married David Klein; they enjoyed 35 years of marriage.

Kathleen enjoyed attending grandchildren activities, including football, softball, racing and school concert activities. She always attended her sons Rick and Michael’s races at WIR. Kathleen loved watching NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. She extremely enjoyed driving her convertible and having breakfast with her long-time friend Bonnie Vanden Heuvel.  

Kathleen  is survived by her children, Richard Glaser, Patricia (Guy) Pasterski, Dawn Glaser, Vicki Buksyk and Michael (Sheli) Klein; her grandchildren, Cassandra Kennedy, Christina Kennedy, Trista (Will) Pearson, Katlyn (Ezechiel) Ogeda, Alicia Paeth, Matthew Paeth, Nicholas Buksyk, Zachary Klein, Gavin Klein, Caleb Klein and Harrison Klein; her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Coralyn, Joshua, Rylee, Isabella, Aaliyah, Malcolm and Ezechiel; her siblings, Alice Eggert, Bob (Sandy) Kraus, Delores (Neal) Hembel, Shirley (Jerry) Brinkman, Carol (Mike) Sly, Mary Killen, Ron Kraus and Sharon Heimmermann; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Beside her parents and husband David, she was preceded in death by a brother Dan Kraus and father and mother-in-law Erwin (Lydes) Klein.

 Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, WI. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton, WI. Family and friends may greet the family on September 7th from 11:30 am until the time of services at the funeral home.
