Karen E. (Haen) Ruff

Karen E. Ruff, age 72, of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Century Oaks in Appleton, WI. She was born on April 24, 1951 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Rammer) Haen.

Karen was a bookkeeper for Appleton Pharmacy for many years. She taught CCD classes at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Appleton, WI. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cross stitch, and her fondness for felines.

Karen was survived by a son Joe (Julie) Sonkowsky of Gold Canyon, AZ; a sister Barbara Bull of Sussex, WI; a nephew Brian Bull of Sussex, WI and a God Child of Sister Janelle Athorp.

A prayer service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton, WI. Burial of Cremains will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton, WI. A visitation will be on Friday, March 1st from 2:00 pm until the time of the prayer service.
