Julie Ann (Roepke) Allen

Julie Ann Allen, 70, of Appleton, died Tuesday January 23, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in New London on April 15, 1947, daughter of the late Gordon and Ethel (Riedl) Roepke. Julie married Gary Allen on September 5, 1970.

Julie was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was a member of the “Spinners Guild”. Julie enjoyed spinning, weaving, and crocheting among other crafts. She was a board member of Retired Greyhound Athletes. Julie loved all of her animals dearly. She loved her family and all her wonderful friends she met along the way that meant so much to her.

Julie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Gary; and her brother David Roepke, Kimberly. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial for Julie will 11:00 AM on Saturday February 3, 2018 at ST. PIUS X CATHOIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette St. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 until 10:45 AM, with Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
