Judith Warner Obituary

Judy Warner, born December 29, 1941 to Milton and Lucille Krueger, was raised on Farland Avenue and attended Green Bay East high school. She went on to study at UW Oshkosh. She was a lifelong sports fan, especially the Green Bay Packers. Judy met Wayne and they were married in 1961. They bought a home on the corner of Porlier and Baird, and soon after, Wayne started his lifelong career with Fort Howard. Judy stayed home with their two young sons, John and Jeff. The family moved to Ashwaubenon in the summer of 1969. Judy enrolled at UWGB to finish her teaching degree and graduated in 1975. She was a wonderful influence on an entire generation of people who attended Annunciation School. She taught fourth grade until her retirement in 2004. In the spring of 1983 she lost her beloved son John to an accident while he was stationed in Italy with the army. She was a very generous person who always had a smile and kind word for friends and strangers alike. Though Wayne passed in 1998, her faith kept her strong and positive. Not long after, Judy’s son Jeff met the love of his life, Pamela. She soon became the daughter Judy never had and always wanted (and needed). The two were married in 2000. Three children came along, Will, Lanē and Libby. They put a light in Judy’s heart that nothing else could have. She loved every minute spent with her grandchildren and was always looking for reasons to spend more time with them. She never missed a game, practice, recital or concert. She loved sleepovers with the kids. She lit up like a Christmas tree when she was with her family, especially when her cousin and lifelong best friend Kathy was near.

After a three-year fight with dementia and Alzheimer’s, Judy is finally at peace and is reunited with her son John, husband Wayne and many other friends and family who loved her dearly.
