Joyce M (Brehmer) Hopfensperger

Joyce M. Hopfensperger, 84, Appleton, WI passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, following a period of declined health. Joyce was born on September, 16, 1936 in Kaukauna, WI, daughter of Carl and Mildred Brehmer (Vanden Busch). She married Donald Hopfensperger on October 20, 1956 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Peshtigo. Together they raised four children. Joyce enjoyed gardening, being on the computer, and especially camping at Farmer Genes Campground.

Joyce is survived by three Daughters; Debora Cornaro, VA, Karen Kraft, Kaukauna, Lisa (Percy Jr.) Lawrence, Appleton; Son, Mark (Michelle), Appleton, 9 Grandchildren; and 16 Great Grandchildren, Brother; David (Rose), Sister; Violet (William) and Sisters In Law; Gerry and Betty and Brother In Law; Roger Schmitt as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Husband of 56 years, Donald, Parents; 4 Brothers; Wesley, Roger, Kenneth and Henry, 3 Sisters; Viola, Antoinette and Carol, Sister In Law; Ruth, 2 Nephews; Bobby and Doug.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, visitation will be at 10AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Ave., Appleton, WI with Rev. Timothy Seabaugh with services to follow at 11AM. Masks will be encouraged.

Joyce’s family would like to thank the staff, especially Nurse Lori and Nurse Tammi and Social Worker, Holly and the Hospice team at St. Paul Elders, Kaukauna for all the care and compassion for Joyce and her family.
