Joseph Lester Boyle

Joseph Lester Boyle, 89 passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at The Bridges of Appleton Nursing Home.  He was born on June 2, 1930 in Appleton the son of Anton and Elizabeth (Laux) Boyle.  On June 10, 1950 he married Betty Lippert in Greenville. He enjoyed playing guitar, driving semi-truck, fishing, watching old western movies, and working on his cars.  Joseph especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. 

Joseph is survived by: His wife Betty Boyle, (4) Children: Yvonne Gwiazdon, Kathleen Boyle, Debra (James) Wilke, and Michael Boyle.  (8) Grandchildren: John, Helen, Laura, Matthew, Sarah, Joseph W, Joseph B, and Andrew, (5) Great-Grandchildren: Michael, Brandon, Christopher, Patrick, and Lilly. Sister: Ruth Mendels and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter: Melinda Wilke. (3) Brothers: Clarence, Tony, and Roy.  Sister: Margaret “Margie” and many other relatives. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Valley Funeral Home; 2211 North Richmond St. Appleton, WI 54911.  Fr. Kennedy Gaspar will officiate.  Visitation will be held on Friday January 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM until the hour of service at Valley Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
