John James Zuehl, Menasha, passed away October 6th, 2021. He was born in Kaukauna on March 17th, 1959 to Clarence and Hazel Zuehl.
John graduated from Kaukauna High School class of 1977, after which, he lived in various places in Wisconsin settling in Menasha. John met and married Michelle September 06, 1997. He was employed at Hardees for ten years and truly enjoyed his job until an early retirement in 2020 after which he kept busy donating his time to Our Saviors’ Lutheran Church in Appleton. He enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino and shopping, especially Yankee Candles. John loved spending time with friends and family especially his children who meant the world to him.
John is survived by his wife Michelle their two children, daughter Andrea Morgan (fiancé Sheldon Hess), a son, Austin John, a sister, Carol(Ken)Micke, brothers, Dave(Lynn) Ritchie, Robert Zuehl, brother in law, Tom Heindel, Father in law, James Kohl, brothers in law, Jim Kohl and Peter(Katie) Kohl and sister in law, Tammy Kohl. He is further survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Patricia (Harold) Meetz, Joanne Heindel, brother, Gary Ritchie, mother in law Gloria Kohl, brother in law Michael Kohl as well as his Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.
A visitation will be held Thursday October 14th, 2021 from 4-7pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St. Appleton and Friday 9-11am at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 3009 N Meade St. Appleton with services beginning at 11am.
In lieu of flowers live plants are preferred.
