John A. Schoenstene

John Schoenstene, 58, passed away on August 27, 2026. He was born on August 31, 1967, to his late parents Albert and Darlene (Young) Schoenstene in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.

John was raised in McHenry, Illinois and in his adult life he moved to Omro, WI, then to Appleton later on. He loved working on cars, going fishing when he can, and going to air shows like EAA with his daughter Katrina.

He is survived by his daughter Katrina (Dean) Wojcik, step daughter Cami Rothermel, grandchildren Layliah, Bennett, Chevelle, sister Peggy Sullivan, nieces Jessica Sullivan and Brittni (Josh) Sparks, former brother in law/best friend Lenny Sullivan, and other extended family.

John is preceded in death by his parents.
