John Keith Mueller

John Keith Mueller, 60 years old, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, due to an undiagnosed health condition.  He was born on June 14, 1962, the youngest of four children, to John and Eleanor (Karschney) Mueller.  He grew up in Eureka, WI, and was a 1980 graduate of Omro High School. 

John was a loving husband, brother, uncle, son, and talented musician who thrived on performing and connecting with his audience.  He also enjoyed the outdoors, maintaining his house and land, and spending time with his beloved dog, Cooper.

John is survived by his wife Becky, his three sisters, Connie (Ron) Maronn, Avis Gunnell, and Marcia (Pete) Bodway, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  John was preceded in death by his parents (John and Eleanor Mueller), Becky’s father (Jim Warrington), and several other relatives.

John worked at various employers in the Fox Valley area including Crown Cork & Seal (20 years), and O’Neil & Associates (10 years), then John followed his calling to serve the seniors through music, they truly loved him (8 years) via JTDOG Music, LLC, in 2015.  John also performed for many benefits during his time.  John enjoyed spending his summers on motorcycle rides, attending music concerts, and bonfires, all with his wife Becky at his side.  John was blessed to have fostered a lasting friendship with Chris Schmidt through Best Friends of Neenah/Menasha.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at John and Becky’s home in the near future.  Details will be shared when further information is known.  A separate musical tribute/benefit will be held at Anjie’s Bar, 413 Ohio St, Oshkosh, on 6/23/2023 from 6:30p-11:00p.

John served in the National Guard, transitioned to the National Guard Reserves.
