Jessica Martin Lindberg (Ewald), 32, died Friday October 26, 2018, the result of an automobile accident. She was born November 2, 1985 in Oshkosh, daughter of John and Dana (Krause) Ewald. Jessica married Daniel Lindberg on August 23, 2014.
Jess graduated from Ashwaubenon High School in 2004, and went on to Northern Michigan University, where she graduated Magna cum laude in 2008. Jess worked for FedEx as a sales executive, where she earned the prestigious President’s Club Award in 2017. Jess loved all animals, especially her cats, Cobb and Jordy. She kept her many bird feeders filled with seed and took pleasure in relaxing on her deck watching the hosts of birds that visited. She was a loyal Green Bay Packer fan, she also enjoyed traveling, gatherings with family and friends, and time spent at her grandparent’s cottage on Green Lake. Her greatest love was her time spent with her family, especially her husband and her two children.
Jess is survived by her loving husband Dan; their two children, daughter Emelia Bell and son, John Martin; her parents: John and Dana Ewald; sister Jackie; brother Bennett; her grandparents: Dan and Marnie Krause; aunt Courtney Santorella; uncle Doug Krause; four cousins: Hans, Will, Mick, Thatcher Krause and their mother Caitlin. She is further survived by her in-laws: Rick and Becky Lindberg, Tony (Lisa) Lindberg, Carmen Lindberg (fiancé Connor O’Brien) and Claire Lindberg; and countless other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Harlo and Vivian Ewald.
A celebration of Jessica’s life will be held this Friday on her birthday November 2, 2018 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, beginning at 2:00 until 6:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM with Fr. Michael Bertram officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for her children.
Jess’s family would like to thank the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department, the Greenville Fire Department, Hortonville Police department, The Wisconsin State Patrol and the staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center for all of their efforts.
Jess’s kind and generous nature, appreciated by all who knew her, was further expressed in her wish to be an organ donor. She will be greatly missed.
