Jerry L. Diller

Jerry L. Diller, age 83, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born to the late Ronald and Helen (Pounds) Diller on June 1, 1940.

Jerry married Edna Macklem on September 5, 1959.  He was employed at Nash Finch for over 40 years before retiring in 2004. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed watching westerns, travelling, and taking trips to the casino and playing the slot machines. His greatest joy in life was being a grandpa and great grandpa to his many grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Edna; their children: Kelly Kosiec, Kyle (Phil) Stahly, Kathie (Elmer) Welch, and Guy Ray (Rose) Diller; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and siblings: Cherie Jaynes, Marylys Calhoun, and Mark (Rebecca) Mostrom.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Terry, Ted, and Tom Diller; his sister, Margene Ebright; and his son-in-law, Frank Kosiec.

A funeral service for Jerry will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.
