Jane V. Cleven was called home by her Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 24, 2026. She was born to Elmer and Valita (Raether) Brick on May 10, 1942, in Green Bay, WI. She attended Crystal Springs School for grades 1-8 and graduated from Seymour High School.
On July 19, 1961, she married John (Jack) Cleven at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oneida, WI. Jane and husband Jack raised five children while starting and growing the family business, Jack Cleven, Inc. She loved the Lord, her church, and assisting the elderly. Jane was an excellent cook and everybody loved her meals. She also enjoyed raising a variety of animals.
Jane is survived by Deborah (Todd) Boelter, twins Gregory (Julianne) Cleven and Brian (Becky) Cleven, Carrie Cleven, and Michael (Rachel) Cleven; grandchildren Monica (Aaron) Hanson, Matthew (Jen) Boelter, John (Katie) Cleven, Katherine (Mitch Huebner) Cleven , Edward (Annie) Cleven, Emily (Sajind) Gill, and Elliott Cleven; great-grandchildren Lila Hanson; Connor, Brynn, and Alayna Boelter; Gideon Cleven; Silas and Blair Huebner; and Greta and Lucy Cleven; sisters Joyce Adamski and Sarah (Larry) Cleven, brother John (Kay) Brick; and many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, in-laws Christ and Frances Cleven, and brother-in-law Jim Adamski.
Visitation will be at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 Richmond Street, Appleton, WI, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Friday, March 27th; and at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, N3505 State Road 47, Appleton, WI, on Saturday, March 28th, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, followed by a Christian funeral service.
Memorial gifts may be directed to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church or Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
