James "Jim" L. Repinski

James L. “Jim” Repinski, age 74, of Appleton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.  He was born on December 18, 1949, in Stevens Point, WI son of the late Larry and Betty (Patoka) Repinski.  After high school Jim proudly served his country with the Army’s 82nd Airborne.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from UW – Stevens Point.  On March 9, 1974, Jim married Patricia A. Berg.  Their marriage was blessed with 50 years, and 4 children, whom Jim adored.  Jim was generous and helpful and took joy in practicing random acts of kindness.  He was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed staying current on world events.  Above all else, Jim loved when his family would get together, and he was so proud of his kids and grandkids.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Pat; his children: Jenni Repinski; triplets: Chad Repinski, Jeremy Repinski (Micki  Lindstrom), Heather (Phil) Brandt; grandchildren: Olivia (Eric) Sandin; Emma Knueppel;  Zay Knueppel; Leah Lemke; Emmie, Grayson, and Sienna Repinski; Jacob, Allison, Madeline, and Evelyn Repinski; Mason and Kenna Brandt; Skylar and Easton Sloan; great-grandchildren: Eleanor and Oliver Sandin; siblings: Joan Engebretson, Allen (Rita) Repinski, Diane (Jim) Jaworski, Mary (Bill) Schultz; brother-in-law, Bob (Cindy) Berg.  In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a grandson, Elijah Knueppel; brother, Jerry Repinski; parents-in-law: Chic and Angie Berg.

A memorial service for Jim will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home (2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton).  Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Full military honors will conclude the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Jim’s name to “Tunnel to Towers” to honor disabled veterans.
