Jacquie L. Beckman

Jacquie L. Beckman, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Jacquie lived her teen years in the “Hippie era” of the 60’s. She was a free spirit who lived her life in her own way. She was kind-hearted and always helped anyone who was in need. Even though she was a gypsy at heart, she made home a warm and welcoming place. She was a good Mom to her two daughters, Kori and Tara. She loved them with all her heart and tried to give them all that she could. And she absolutely loved her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was so proud of them all. Her one regret was that she couldn’t give them everything she wanted to give them. Jacquie enjoyed occasionally doing a little gambling at the casino, bumming around rummage sales and thrift shops and knew her way around antiques. She also was an artist in her youth, but didn’t follow up on her drawing talents. Even though she worked different jobs over the years, she found her niche in realty, getting her realtor license and working with her brother, Bill. She had what it took to succeed in home sales. She was smart, friendly and full of energy. For nearly 20 years, Jacquie has dealt with many health problems. The last few years have been especially hard, but she tried to be strong and held onto her faith. Everyone who knew Jacquie would agree that she was sometimes flighty and stubborn, but was aways fun, caring and loving

Jacquie is survivedby her daughters; Kori Peeters, Tara (Vinnie) Garbarro, grandchildren; Ashley (Greg) Lamia, Alicia (Brian) Peeters, Marley Werner, and Brady Peeters, great grandchildren; Abigail, Aliyah, Lainey and Lyle, siblings; Cheryl McCarthy and Tom (Jan) Thompson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Jacquie was preceded in death by her parents, a best friend Tash and brother-in-law Bob McCarthy.
