Jacqueline "Jackie" Ratelle Obituary

Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Ratelle, age 30, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1995 to Dean and Cheryl (Casper) Ratelle. With heavy hearts and deep love, we remember a vibrant soul whose creativity and laughter left a lasting mark on everyone she met.

Jackie graduated from Waukesha North High School in 2014, carrying with her a passion for life that was impossible to miss. An artist in every sense of the word, she found beauty in all mediums; whether it was drawing, painting, designing her own tattoos, or even turning a simple pair of shoes into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Her creativity wasn’t just a hobby, it was how she experienced and expressed the world.

Jackie had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether out in nature with her bow or fishing with her dad Dean, these were some of her cherished moments. She enjoyed Paddleboarding, taking in the sun's rays, and just spending time with good friends sharing life's ups and downs. She loved what the Hawaiian Islands offered with beautiful skies, landscapes, and clear blue water. These special moments brought her peace.

She had a very special relationship with her mother Cheryl. Learning to cook some of her favorites, playing jokes on mom and the special hugs she would give that will be remembered forever. Her relationship with her siblings was one of a kind. She was the peacemaker, "Big Sister",  "Middle Sister" which was quite taxing at times, and a loyal confidant. The bond between herself and her siblings couldn't be matched. No matter the situation Jackie always had a way to make you feel better even if it was for just a little while. She would always think about others before herself. At home or away, she brought color and light wherever she went.

She had the gift of Empathy that you can't learn. You've either got it or you don't and Jackie had it!

Known for her humor, she had a gift for making people laugh. Her impressions, quick wit, and playful personality made her unforgettable. She could lift a room with ease, leaving smiles in her wake.

Jackie also had a passion for makeup and self-expression, always finding new ways to blend creativity with personal style. Everything she touched carried her unique signature.

Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made was anything but small. She will be remembered for her artistic soul, love of animals, her adventurous heart, and the laughter she shared so freely.

She is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jackie is survived by her parents, Dean and Cheryl Ratelle; siblings: Dustin (Jennifer) Casper, Korie-Anne (Kyle) Kuecker, Emily (Taylor Kaiponen) Ratelle; nieces and nephew: Vera Casper, Teagan Kaiponen, Wesley Kaiponen; and aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: David and Joan Ratelle, Okpun Casper; and favorite dog, Maverick.
