To the family of Iris Peters. I knew and worked closely with Iris when she was Secretary (really Administrative Assistant) to Chuck DeZemer. I had the office next to Chuck at KC-North and Iris sat right outside both of our offices. She was an amazing woman to have worked for and with Chuck. He was demanding, had irregular office hours, arriving at 6:00 AM to begin calling KCC's field sales force. He traveled a lot and expected exceptional care from his staff and where ever Iris "booked him". She was able keep peace in his small staff (Bill Towne, Bob Mayotte, Wally Sell and Warren Loper.)In my view, she was a lovely, exceptionally hard working woman and a good, trusted friend. I lost track of her when she and her retired husband moved to a farm setting, near Red Granite (?). For a time, I think they tried to raise and sell lamb meat and possibly some other products they raised. I will keep you all in my prayers now; I pray for the survivors and those who mourn.
