Irene E (Rosin) Scheibe

Irene E. Scheibe, age 94, passed peacefully to her Heavenly Home at Helen’s House in the town of Grand Chute May 13th, 2021. She was born on September 3, 1926 in Wrightstown WI to Albert and Elsie Rosin. Irene met and then married Edwin Scheibe on January 27th 1951 in Kaukauna.  Irene was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church as well as loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters Arleen Dolan, Ione (Terry) Sievert and Amy (Paul) Meshke including a step-daughter Ellen Scheibe (Mark). Irene is further survived by a sister in law Betty Rosin, nine grandchildren and their spouses along with 19 great-grandchildren and a special friend Gary Schomburg.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Edwin, her parents and eight siblings; Inez (Ervin) Maves, Ervin (Ruth) Rosin, Melvin (Geraldine) Rosin, Harold (Cordell) Rosin, Irma (Walter) Scheibe, Oscar Rosin, Lester (Toni) Rosin, Robert  Rosin and a son in law William Dolan.

Services to be held Wednesday May 19th, 2021 at St Paul Lutheran Church, 302 N. Morrison, Appleton, with Rev. Richard Scheibe and Rev. Paul Zittlow officiating.  Visitation will be from 2pm -4pm with service at 4pm and small luncheon to follow at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fox Valley Lutheran High School and Time of Grace.
