Henry "Hank" J. Stezenski, age 78, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 peacefully at home. He was born in Shawano on November 16, 1947 to the late Edward and Loretta (Steinke) Stezenski.
Hank was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family was the center of his world, and he showed his love through presence, consistency, and quiet dedication. He worked at the Bergstrom Paper Company until retirement when it was PH Glatfelter paper mill.
An avid bowler, Hank could often be found at the lanes at least three days a week, enjoying both the game and the camaraderie it brought. He also loved golfing and spending time outdoors. In his younger years, he hunted deer and also traveled to Colorado several times to hunt elk, experiences he remembered with pride and appreciation of the outdoors.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his steady routines, and a life well lived.
Hank is survived by his children: Jason (Jennifer Ponfil) Stezenski, Jolene Stezenski; grandchildren: Dominic Roberts, Damon Roberts, Logan (Logen Witterholt) Beilfuss, Xander Beilfuss, Izaya (Annaliese Gerhartz) Stezenski, Teila (Hunter Sillars) Stezenski, Bryce Stezenski, Kyley (Owen Roepcke) Kroner; great grandchildren: Liam Stezenski, Harper Sillars, Colton Stetson, Ragan Stetson; and siblings: Ronald (Kay) Stezenski , Sandy (Reggie) Zastrow, Sharon (Ronald) Hoffman, John (Soon) Stezenski, Jean ( Gerald) Fitzsimmoms, and numerous nieces and nephews. Hank was preceded in death by his two stepchildren whom he loved deeply, Eric Phillips and Kelly Phillips.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will take place on Friday at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
