Helene L. Herbst

Helene L. Herbst (Hammen/Klockzien), 84, got her wings on Thursday, March 14, 2024 with her family by her side.  She was born in Kaukauna, WI on December 4, 1939.  She loved many things, mostly her family, but she loved her dogs, horses, playing games with the family, the Green Bay Packers and feeding the birds.

She is survived by her 4 children; Kathy Vanesky of Neenah, Russell Klockzien of Fremont, Bradley Klockzien of Neenah, Ken (Amie) Klockzien of Fremont, 8 grandkids, 13 great grandkids and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Stevens, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Valley Funeral Home; 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton, WI.  Officiated by Pastor Mike Huff.  Visitation will begin at 9am until the hour of service.  Entombment will take place at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
