Harold L. Biggs of Appleton, Wisconsin, age 86 was called to eternal rest on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Harold was born on November 9, 1934 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the late son of Altia Biggs and Mabel (Heiderman) Biggs.
Harold served his country in both the Navy as a Quarter Master-Signal Man and in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst and Staff Sergeant. He was also a Judo instructor while serving in the military.
Harold loved the Lord and his family and shared the gospel with many and was involved in leading Bible Studies for over 40 years through the Jail Ministry. Harold and his family traveled throughout the majority of the United States. He enjoyed writing and poetry, playing the mandolin, bowling, camping and snowmobiling. He liked bike riding, old cars and of course, the Packers.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gail (Seefeld) Biggs, children; David (Sarah) Biggs and Renee (Curtis) Swinford, Grandchildren; Amanda, Olivia, Rachel and Matthew, Great Grandchildren; Owen, Josie, Ivan, Melainey, Eli, June and Beaumont. He is further survived by his brother Ivan and his sister Irene, along with nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Altia and Mabel, brothers; Melvin, Lloyd, Ralph and Robert and his sisters; Velma and Betty.
Services will be held at Calvary Bible Church in Neenah, Wisconsin on Thursday November 4, 2021. Visitation will be from 11:30AM to 1:00PM with Service to start at 1:00PM, officiated by Pastor Harry Shields.
