Glen Schwark Obituary

Glen A. Schwark passed away into eternal life in the arms of his Savior on March 3, 2018.

He was born on March 26, 1957 in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. He was baptized into Christ on April 7, 1957. He confirmed his Christian faith on April 4, 1971 St. Paul Evengelical Lutheran Church where he has been a life long member. Glen graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran HS on June 6, 1975. Glen was employed at Pacon Corp. since April 1975, retiring in 2017.

He is survived by Carla (Steinberg) Schwark, his loving and devoted wife of 21 years, having been married on September 7, 1996. He is further survived by his father, Darwin Schwark (Special friend Margaret Liebergen), brother Gary Schwark (Brenda), sister Kathy (Duane) Kasten, niece Elyse (Kevin) Andrews, nephew Alex (Jamie) Kasten, nephew Jason (Ruth) Schwark, great niece Jenai Schwark, nephew Eric Schwark, aunt Donna Horn, father and mother-in-law Alvin (Ethel) Steinberg, sister-in-law Bev (Gary) Deimer, brother-in-law Dave Steinberg, nephew Adam Steinberg, niece Amanda Steinberg, niece Michele (Dan) Brooks, great nephew Morgen Brooks, great nieces Maren and Stella Brooks, and many other relatives and friends.

Glen looked forward to being reunited with those who preceded him in death; his mother Doris Schwark, uncle Howard Horn, grandparents, nephew Gregg Deimer, and close friend Dave Hartmann.

Glen and Carla enjoyed taking their Camaro on trips to many car shows. They also were blessed to enjoy several vacations together; including  Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Vegas and Sturgis.  He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. His other hobbies were fishing, hunting, golfing, cooking, baking, and even doing the dishes. His brother Gary has fond memories of their yearly conversations and hunting on the mud farm in Princeton. His sister Kathy will always remember the laughs they shared creating silly puns.

We are forever grateful  for all the prayers and support from family, friends, co-workers, his pastors at St. Paul Lutheran, and the doctors and staff at Theda Care Cancer Center.

The Christian funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH 302 N. Morrison St, Appleton.
