Glen L.E. Baird

Glen Lindsey Enid Baird, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was born on November 3, 1936 in Kansas.

Glen proudly served his country as U.S. Marine and followed on as a member of the Naval Reserve. He was a Korean War veteran. On Friday, April 13, 2007, he married his beloved Marilyn. Glen and Marilyn proudly celebrated their marriage every Friday the 13th, regardless of the month, for the past 18 years.  Glen loved the Lord and enjoyed Bible study with his family. He also enjoyed working in the garden, line dancing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Glen is survived by his wife, Marilyn Baird; children: Allison (Baird) Pardo, Glen “Kerry” Baird, Brad Baird; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was further loved by many extended family members and friends.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Sybil (Cloer) Baird.

A funeral service for Glen will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, with full military honors to follow.
