Gerald W. Remter

Gerald W. Remter, age 84 of Neenah, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021.  He was born in Appleton to the late Gordon and Esther (Luebke) Remter.  He worked for several years at US Oil. He was always working on something, a handyman of sorts. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children; Geraldine (Dan) Cowling, Tina (Allen) Beschta, Patti (Sonny) Kettner and Jeremy Remter, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Gerald is further survived by a sister, Judy Schmidt, a sister in law, Donna Remter as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding Jerry in death are his parents, his son, Rick Remter, brothers Gordon Jr. and Donald (Gladys) Remter and brother in law, Don Schmidt.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St, Appleton, from 2:00pm until the service held at 4:00pm. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Emerald Ridge and heartland hospice care.
