Gary Hakola Obituary

Gary George Hakola, 72, from Appleton, WI passed away on March 24, 2020. He was born and raised in Pelkie Michigan. He is survived by his children, Carrie (Steve), Christy (Ed), Nichole (Brittany), Pam (Aaron), and Cory (Felicity), his very special friend DeeDee, and his special friend and caregiver Sheila. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In Gary's own words he said, my body may not be here because I donated it to science in hopes they can study my brain in hopes to save at least one person from seizures. "And then if you choose to remember me, just be an ear to listen to somebody's problems, or do a good deed for a stranger. Though my soul may be in Heaven, I hope that I have made a little difference on earth and God Bless."
