Eunice Scheibe Obituary

Our Heavenly Father called Eunice Meta Scheibe home on Wednesday morning October 10, 2018. She was born July 30, 1935 in the Town of Osborn, daughter of the late William and Elsie (Willenkamp) Wendt. Eunice married Harold Scheibe on May 4, 1957. Eunice and Harold were blessed with three daughters.

Eunice graduated from Seymour High School. She went on to work as a legal secretary at the law firms of Burns & Lubinski, and Bradford & Gabert. Eunice loved music and applied her musical talents teaching the piano accordion.

Eunice is survived by her daughters: Diana (Scott) Rehmer, Brenda (Chad) Schultz; son in-law, Robert Meltz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters: Dorothy (Norman) Reitz and Marjorie Forbeck; two brothers: Delbert Wendt and Donald (Julie) Wendt; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; daughter, Julie Meltz; grandson, Zachary Meltz; sister, Eleanor Werner; and brother, William Wendt.

In Keeping with Eunice’s wishes, no services will be held.

Mother, full of love and thoughtfulness, always giving of herself to help others, was a precious treasure and rich blessing from our Lord. She is dearly missed.
