Emily Pfister Obituary

Emily C. Pfister, beloved mother, daughter, and sister.  Emily was well loved by family and friends, and in turn, loved everyone with her heart of gold. She treated everyone with the same measure of compassion no matter the person: loved-one or total stranger.  She lived through love and constantly sacrificed herself to help others. Emily filled her life doing charitable acts for many without public acclaim and never expected anything in return.  She had very little but would give to anyone in need no matter the circumstances. Her home was open to all.  She always had a listening ear and would give her opinion whether you wanted it or not. Emily was rich in friends and enjoyed life. Most will remember her smile and how funny she was unbeknownst to her.

Emily’s greatest love and accomplishment were her children and grandchildren, whom were recipients of her fierce loyalty, unwavering support, and her life’s purpose.

Emily was a graduate of Neenah High School class of 1971. She went on to study at Indiana State University and UWO.

Emily LOVED life as a traveling Antique Dealer and later as an Estate Liquidator where her fellow dealers and customers became a second family to her.  Customers always came just to see Emily’s smiling face and chitchat even if just for a minute!

Emily is survived by her children: Noah Pfister, Rachel Pfister (Stephen Wurzer); grandchildren: Nora Pfister and Owen Larson; brother, Martin Pfister and sister, Carol Quella of Warsaw, IN; brother, Tom Pfister of Bloomington, IN; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her two previous roommates, Mark Pfister of Menasha, WI and Greg Willett of Appleton, WI.

Emily is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Leo Pfister of Warsaw, IN; maternal grandparents, Kitty and Harry Price of Chattanooga, TN; paternal grandparents, Emma and J.B. Pfister of Terre Haute, IN.

Emily was born on March 31, 1953 in Evansville, IN and passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on May 27, 2025.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date!
