Edward (Ed) Allen Steinberg, 91, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee. Edward was born in Two Rivers, WI on November 10, 1931 to the late John and Viola (Diedrich) Steinberg. Edward married his high school sweetheart, Beverly Ann Yentz, on October 18, 1952; 5 days later he left to serve in the Army for two years during the Korean War. After returning, he and Beverly started a family while Edward and his brothers struck out as entrepreneurs, opening Northwest Supply in 1968. Ed and Bev went on to have six children, sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. In his later years, Ed worked as a courier for the Community Blood Center until retiring at the age of 85. He loved the outdoors - turkey hunting, deer hunting, musky fishing. He also enjoyed playing cards and a good cigar and Manhattan. But most of all, he loved spending time with his “awesome” family.
