Obituary
Earl R. Blackbourn, age 91 of Appleton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, May 19, 2023. He was born on September 6, 1931 in Dunbarton, Wisconsin to the late Fred and Hazel (Steiner) Blackbourn. Earl worked with his father at Fred Blackbourn and Sons, Inc., and later took over the business, selling and repairing farm equipment. He enjoyed going to tractor pulls with his sons and watching the Packers and the Cubs on TV. Sometimes he could be found driving around, often stopping by Dairy Queen on his travels.
He is survived by his children; Glenn (Dorale) Blackbourn, Terry (Coleen) Blackbourn, Dian (Bob) Crego and Stephanie (Thomas) Schuh, grandchildren; Josh (Brittany), Kyle (Ali), Molly (Ryan), Declan, Ariel, Roxanna, Hazel and Ryan. Earl is further survived by his great grandchildren; Everleigh, June, Sunny , Johnny and Carter.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Dorothy and brother, Harry Blackbourn.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
