Doris K. Beckman

Doris K. Beckman, age 83, peacefully passed away on May 29, 2024, at Heartwood Senior Living, Appleton, Wisconsin, with her loving and devoted husband, Keith Beckman, at her side.

Doris was born on December 1, 1940, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She lived in California for several years. She then moved to Naples, Florida, with her two sons, Stephen Lane and Jeffrey Lane, where she served as a registered nurse in post-op for many years at Naples Community Hospital.

After moving to Appleton, Wisconsin, in 1993, she married Keith Beckman of Appleton on October 29, that same year. They spent many years together in Fremont, Wisconsin, enjoying living on the Wolf River, along with houseboating and fishing. For the past several years, they made their home in Danbury, Wisconsin. Doris was a loving grandmother, and she and Keith cherished spending time with family, friends, and especially their two granddaughters, Grace and Claire.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Beckman, Danbury; two sons, Stephen Lane, Burbank, California, and Jeffrey Lane, Las Vegas, Nevada; two stepsons, Kurt Beckman (Debbie Coe), Faribault, Minnesota, and Ken (Sarah) Beckman and their daughters, Grace and Claire, Andover, Minnesota; and a sister-in-law, Corrine Kriplean, Appleton.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Heartwood Senior Living for taking such good care of Doris. We would also like to thank AseraCare Hospice and especially our angel, Kayla. We are also grateful to the caregivers with Home Instead, especially to Lulu and Tamara for their loving care. We truly appreciate all that everyone did to make Doris more comfortable.

Doris will be greatly missed by those who called her wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
