Donald "Doc" M. Hidde

Donald “Doc” M. Hidde, age 98, was welcomed in Jesus’ arms on September 6, 2025. He was born to life August 5, 1927 to Leona and William Hidde. He was baptized August 28, 1927 into the Christian faith; he was a good and faithful servant.

Doc was a Korean War Veteran. He was a graduate of the National Chiropractic School in Chicago and practiced for over 30 years in Appleton. Doc was united in marriage in 1953 to Joyce Baerwald until her passing on September 14, 2001. He was then united in marriage on June 4, 2003 to Mary Etta Brose.

Doc is survived by his wife, Mary Etta Hidde; children: Lynn (Bill) Davidson, Dean (Barbi) Hidde, Todd (Mindy) Hidde; grandchildren: Shane and Jessica Hooyman, Alicia (Brad) Tomcheck, Kristina Hidde; great grandchildren: Ethan, Kaylee, Carter, Syndy, Chase, Brooklyn; brother, Howard (Margo) Hidde; sister-in-law, Vinetta Hidde; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Hidde; parents, Leona and William Hidde; brothers: Harold (Bonnie) Hidde, Orval Hidde; and sister, Lois (Dan) Stenson.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W7265 School Road, Greenville, WI with military honors following the service. Visitation will take place at the church on Thursday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Innichment will take place at Highland Memorial Park on a later date to be announced.
