Donald J. Spindler

Donald J. Spindler, age 87, of Hortonville, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Edenbrook of Appleton.

He was born on December 11, 1936 in Kaukauna, WI, son of the late Leo and Mildred (Burke) Spindler.

Don was a US Army Veteran.

He worked at Kimberly Mill and then was a maintenance planner at Wisconsin Tissue Mill until retiring. He was a member of the Calumet Flyers. Don loved building and flying Radio Model Airplanes. Don enjoyed yard work and keeping a perfect yard.

Don is survived by his wife Donna; two daughters Linda Ballard and Karen (Jim) St. Pierre; a step-son Lance Krueger; his grandchildren Heather Estay, Ashley Verkuilen, Joe Verkuilen and Alexis Ballard, and many great grandchildren.

As per Don’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial of cremains will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton, WI.
