Dennis C. Brand, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife Tina and children Jamie and Dan. Dennis was born on March 10, 1947, to Howard and Joyce (Nutter) Brand. In his younger years Dennis, feared no one because he had his big brother Mike, whom he loved dearly. Dennis and Mike along with their Dad built and raced go karts. Dennis even won a few championships at Utica Raceway. He also enjoyed outdoor sports, hunting and fishing. Dennis proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era serving in Germany as an MP. His love of our country remained very evident throughout his life. Dennis was a very hard worker and provided a great life for his family. Working his entire 45 year career at AC Supply (Kaman Industries). On December 10, 1968, he married the love of his life, Christine “Tina” Becker. Together, they adopted their two children Dan and Jamie. Dennis loved his two children immensely and would tell all who would listen how proud he was of them. He enjoyed traveling and took many trips to various states with his son Dan who also happened to be his Dunkin Donut buddy. He enjoyed Saturday nights with his daughter and her husband watching comedy, laughing and discussing politics. Dennis was a warm, generous and caring person who made anyone who met him feel like they were the most important person. This especially was true for his family, his grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom all would argue that they were his favorite. He enjoyed their many activities such as teaching his only grandson Jacob how to drive and their trips to Volo and Packer Stadium Tour. Watching Aubree’s cheerleading, Maddie’s volleyball, visits with Emily and Alice, laundry and visits with Gabrielle, breakfast with Jordyn, talks with Faith and Saturday visits with the youngest great grandchildren Aurora and Charles (who was lovingly named after him). He enjoyed trips to Woodman’s, Costco and working out with his loving wife with their personal trainer Hunter. His home was always a place of welcome where you were greeted with a warm hug or a firm handshake and cup of coffee. If you were lucky, he would even share his red licorice. Most of all he was an amazing father, husband and the best grandfather and great grandfather anyone could have. Our hearts are heavy with grief, but we take comfort knowing you are free from pain. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 58 years Tina Brand, children; Daniel Brand and Jamie (Kevin) Mies, grandchildren; Emily (Seth) Boston, Gabrielle Brand, Jordyn Mies, Faith Mies and Jacob Mies, great grandchildren; Madelyn Boston- Usrey, Alice Boston, Aubree Brand, Aurora Crawford and Charles Crawford, his brother Michael (Susan) Brand, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Ronald (Mary) Becker, Sue Bielinski and Cheryl (Joe) Richter, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
