David "Dave" "Thin man" Wright Obituary

David “Dave” “Thin man” Wright, 80, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Dave was born on September 27, 1944 in Jamestown, New York and was raised by his loving grandparents, Walter and Mami Reinsch. Dave was a veteran having served in the US Army during Vietnam. Later he owned W & W Roofing and then worked for Kimberly Clark until his retirement. Not one to sit idle, he started working as a technician at Appleton Harley Davidson setting up motorcycles and later at Automotive supply.

After 35 years together, Dave married the love of his life Ruth Dietzen, on April 19, 2024. A big, joyful “finally!” was said by all. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, yard work and working on cars, as well as going up north with his buddies to Mellon, Wisconsin.

Dave is survived by his wife Ruth, a son Walter (Mary) Wright, step children; Deana Westenberger-Kenjesky, and Greg Westenberger, grandchildren; Gavin Wright and Autumn Hassell, siblings; Cheryl Breach, Pamela Mathes, and John (Jan) Breach, brothers-in-law Mick Dietzen and Bill Dietzen, and many friends, especially; Ted Fox, Gordy Petersen, Keg Angel, Glen Gauthier, Willie Petersen and Tony Blank.

“May your final ride be easy, and the road stretch far and wide". Ride free again with Mike, Joe and Tim. Love you always- Ruth
