David M Bines

David Michael Bines, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was born to the late Ervin and Helen (Walworth) Bines on May 19, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI.

David worked as a musician for over 50 years from the age of 11. He performed a wide array of music from 50’s and 60’s rock and roll to big band to gospel. David loved to sing in the styles of artists like Elvis, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra, and so many more. His love and passion for singing, playing his guitar, and entertaining fans was obvious and his voice brought joy to everyone. He was thankful for all of his fans. David also worked as and took pride in being a Captain for the Merchants Police. In his spare time he enjoyed martial arts, playing tennis, attending Brewers games, and was an avid collector and memorabilia enthusiast. David acquired an impressive collection of autographs from all of the many artists, athletes, and celebrities he encountered over the years.

David is survived by his daughter, Shari (Jeremiah) Bines; two grandchildren: Angela and Jackson Bines; sister, Nancy (Jerry) (Bines) Scheiber; his niece and nephews: Amy (Brian) Beranek, Brad (Jamie) Scheiber, and Jeremy (Sara) Scheiber; his fiancée, Susan Rivord; and very close friend, Rita Jensch. David is further survived by many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his grandparents and his close friend, Helen Jahnke.
