Cheri Lee (Hoffman) Cross

Cheri Lee Cross, age 70, of Appleton passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, May 9, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.  She was born on April 23, 1954, a daughter of the late Harry Sr. and Marion (Head) Hoffman.  Cheri lived for her children and grandkids; including her fur grand babies; Magnus and Rena. she was a fun-loving caring person who enjoyed genealogy and spent endless hours researching the family tree.  She will be reunited with her mom who she has missed tremendously, they had a very special connection. Cher and mom loved to go on road trips for dinner and would never pass up a good garage sale.

She is survived by her children: Jim (Carisa) Satorius, Appleton; Sonya (Marcus) Van Bemmel, Eureka, MT; grandchildren: Jaddin Cross, Payne Van Bemmel, Zola VanBemmel; siblings: Vicki (Ron) Koehler, Black Creek; Harry Jr. (Kim) Hoffman, Mountain; Cara (Jim) Techlin, Appleton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home (2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton). In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
