Charlotte A. Baumgartner, age 86 passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Brewster Village. She was born on November 15, 1931 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late Donald and Jenny (Aplin) Zimmerman. She was united in marriage in August 1953 to George Baumgartner in Fond du Lac. Their marriage was blessed with four children. She enjoyed volunteering at church and the hospital. Charlotte treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, George, four children: Sandy Scheibe of Appleton, Terry (Lyn) of Minocqua, Don (Sue) of Stevens Point, and Mike (Michelle) Baumgartner of Kewaunee; ten grandchildren: Rob (Carrie) Scheibe, Andy (Ashley) Scheibe, Mary (Brian) Robbins, Brian (Amber) Baumgartner, Simon Baumgartner, Eric Baumgartner, Craig (Nichole) Baumgartner, Zach, Abby, and Nick Baumgartner; nine great- grandchildren, one brother, one sister, and one sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Thomas More, 1810 N McDonald St. with Fr. James Lucas officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers there is a memorial established at Brewster Village.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff in the Orchard at Brewster Village for the many years of care, comfort, and support given to Charlotte.
