Charles “Chuck” E. Andrews, age 85, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah. He was born on April 23, 1940, in Plymouth, WI, to the late Warren and Alice (Stiller) Andrews.
Chuck married his high school sweetheart, Shelby (Steger), on April 2, 1960, and they enjoyed 65 wonderful years together. He was an avid sports fan throughout his life, growing up playing basketball, football, and baseball – and, most of all, nurturing a lifelong love of golf. If you ever wanted to talk about any of the Wisconsin sports teams, he was always up for the conversation and seemed to have all the answers.
Chuck graduated from Plymouth High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration. He spent his career in manufacturing, retiring as CEO of Ripon Good Cookies in 1998. In retirement, he made an art form out of his daily routine: getting in walks, emailing his children, staying up to date on financial news, and completing the New York Times Sudoku and Wordle.
Those who knew Chuck also knew his quick wit and amazing sense of humor. He was always ready with a funny comeback that made people laugh and feel welcome in his presence. He was steady, unshakable, and happiest at home, surrounded by family.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Shelby “Honey”; children: Deborah (Tom) Warosh, Kelly Andrews, Christopher (Shelby) Andrews, Paul (Jennifer) Andrews, and Margaret Andrews; eight grandchildren: Danielle, Grant, Mitchell, Nevin, Keely, Collin, Dominic, and Tommy; and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Alice Andrews; and siblings: Jack Andrews, Addie Eisenhardt, and Jerry Andrews.
