Bonnie Jean (Gorden) Syverson, 76, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026 at Oak Park Place in Menasha, WI.
Bonnie was born near Fergus Falls, MN on October 19, 1949 to Stanley and Myrtle Gorden. She grew up in the Pengilly and northern MN area and attended Greenway High School in Coleraine MN. She married Vernon Syverson on December 30, 1967. They welcomed two daughters in 1968 and 1971. She took great pride as a wife, mother, and homemaker. She was an amazing seamstress and very much enjoyed gardening, fishing, all types of arts and crafts, being a grandma and great grandma.
Bonnie is survived by daughters: Tammi Syverson Appleton, WI and Roxanne Syverson Metzig Buhl ,MN; brothers: Ricky Gorden Keewatin, MN and Duwayne Gorden Moose Lake, MN; grandchildren: Trevor (Maddie) Sprunk Chisholm, MN, Travion Stevenson Duluth, MN, Dieter Metzig Duluth, MN, Olivia Stevenson Appleton, WI; and great grandchildren: Rowan and Emilia Sprunk Chisholm, MN.
She was preceded in death by husband, Vernon; parents, Stanley and Myrtle Gorden; sister, Connie Herschbach; and brothers: Allen, Roger, and Dale Gorden.

A joint Celebration of Life for Bonnie and Vernon Syverson will be held for family and friends at a later date. They will be buried together at Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine, MN.
