Bonnie Green Obituary

Bonnie S Green, 73, of Appleton died Tuesday May 19, 2026, at St. Elizabeth’s hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 30, 1952, to the late Norman and Virginia (Kutz) Koentopp.

Bonnie was known for her caring heart, quiet strength, the way she made people feel seen and valued and her love for the color purple and the Green Bay Packers. Friendship came naturally to her, and she built lasting connections wherever she went. Bonnie leaves behind countless memories and people whose lives were made better simply by knowing her.

Bonnie is survived by her son, David Jr (Tina), Sisters, Nancy Lane, Norma Dietzen, Beverly Koentopp, Rose Hornes, Dorothy Krause, Shari (Joe) Junek, and Garda Eggert; brother, Harvey Koentopp; Sister-in-laws Carolyn McFarlane, Chris Thompson, Cindy (John) Sieracki and Cheryl (Al) Krause; Godchildren Linda Seehawer and Gavin Seehawer and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David, son William “Billy”, Father and Mother Norman and Virginia Koentopp, Mother and Father-in-law Ronald and Helen Green; Sister, Elaine DeSchmidt; Brother, Carl (Jackie) Koentopp; Sister-in-law, Karen Koentopp and LouAnn Green; Brother in laws,Ted Dietzen, Dan Green, Chester Thompson, Jerry McFarlane, Ralph Hornes, Ray Lane, Dan Krause; Niece Sheila Babcock and many aunts and uncles.

Per Bonnie’s wishes there will be no funeral services. There will be a celebration of life later this summer at her favorite Sunday stop. Inurnment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
