Beverly J Ziehl, age 86, passed away on July 12, 2025. Bev was born on August 11, 1938, the daughter of Walter and Viola (Collar) Schneider, in the Town of Greenville. Bev was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ where she was baptized, confirmed and married LeRoy Ziehl on February 7, 1959. While raising five children of her own, she was a neighborhood babysitter for many years. She worked in the Hortonville School district as a cook from 1975 until her retirement in 2010. Also loved to cook for family and friends making sure they had plenty.
Bev enjoyed crocheting afagans and scarves which she enjoyed giving away, especially to the children of the Hortonville Food Pantry where she volunteered for many years.
One of her greatest joys was watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in numerous activities.
Also, one of her favorite pastimes was catching up with friends over breakfast and lunch. She enjoyed fishing, listening to live music, traveling to Branson, gambling trips and visiting the YMCA.
Bev is survived by three daughters: Barb (Joe) Lemmers, Kathy Ziehl (Terry), Brenda (Dave) Holz; daughters-in-law: Brenda Ziehl and Patti Ziehl; grandchildren: Gregg (Arcadia) Holz, Adam Holz, Josh Holz (Jackie), Zac Zitske, Kristin Ziehl, Nicole Ziehl and Kevin Ziehl; step-grandchildren: Sarah Lemmers and Becky (Dave) Lembcke; great-grandchildren: Maddie Holz and Maya Holz; step-great-grandchildren: Shy Wiedenbeck, Trevor Sorensen, Leah Sorensen, Pamela Wolf; nephews: Troy Schneider (Tammy), Randy Button and niece, Vicki Button.
