Betty Jane Karr Obituary
Betty Jane passed away on June 8, 2025, just a few weeks before her 92nd birthday.
Betty Jane was born on July 4, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Hugo Zutz Sr. and Almira (Behnke) Zutz of Brillion. Her sister Valeria Valleskey and brother Hugo Zutz Jr. preceded her in death. She married David (Skonieczny) Karr in 1952 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion, who also preceded her in death. Her three children: Curtis, Susan, and Sarah survive her.
Betty Jane was a faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Appleton. She worked various jobs, retiring from AAL (Thrivent).
Betty Jane loved nature, plants, polka music, and animals. She especially loved all of her dogs.
A Christian funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 530 W. Parkway Blvd., Appleton. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. For online condolences, please visit www.valleyfh.com.
