Bette J. Vanesky passed away peacefully on January 10th surrounded by her family. Bette was born on 3/17/42 in Menominee, MI. Daughter of Mervin & Margaret Wautlet. Bette was employed by American Can/Pechiney Packaging for 33 years. Bette lived most of her life in Neenah. Bette loved traveling and wintered in Arizona for 10 years with her husband. Bette was an amazing home decorator and welcoming host to all who entered their home. She adored her flower gardens, where she and her husband Dennis spent many hours together. In earlier years, she loved camping and collecting antiques. Cross-stich projects were also a passion of hers.
Bette is survived by her husband, Dennis Vanesky. Sons, Rick (Sandra) Dausey, Tim (Lorie) Dausey. Sister, Kay Herzfeldt. Further survived by step-children, Rory Vanesky, Jodi Vanesky, Denny Vanesky, Holly Wisneski and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bette was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Wautlet, parents, Mervin & Margaret Wautlet, brother-in-law, Jan Herzfeldt.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St., Appleton beginning at 10:00am until service time of 11:00am.
