Barbara P Peterson

Barbara P. Peterson, age 92 found peace on April 27, 2021, born in 1928 to Joseph and Elizabeth Van Handel in the farm house on Holland Road.

Barb retired from the Kimberly Mill with over 40 years of hard work. While working there she met her husband Ronald “Buzz” Peterson, which is how she became a Packer fan. They were season ticket holders and they attended the Ice Bowl. Buzz preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Anthony “Gene” Sprague at St. Johns in Little Chute.

She is survived by her son Tom Peterson and step son Jeff (Katie) Peterson, three grandchildren Jason (Susie) Peterson, Chad (Robyn) Peterson and Danni Wernette, a special niece LaVern Van Handel, one brother Ray (Marge) Van Handel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, eleven siblings and step son Eric Peterson.

A small family gathering will be held at Highland Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held later this summer at Doyle Park, with services by Deacon Ben.
