Barbara A. Lison, age 80, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on January 14, 1945 to the late Lennon and Gertrude (Hartman) Nonnenmacher in Antigo.
A lifelong sports fan, she ruled her living room on game days, decked out in green and gold for her Packers, cheering on the Bucks, and never missing a Brewers game. In her younger years, she was a force at the pool table and at darts. Later in life she traveled whenever she could, taking in new places with the same enthusiasm she brought to everything she did. Barbara was also famous for her freezer jams, strawberry and blueberry masterpieces that were basically happiness in a jar. Friends and family waited all year for a batch. Reading, playing cards and Dominos were a regular event in her schedule. She wore many hats and she lived with passion that refused to slow down. But above all, she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her joy, her pride, her favorite chapter in a very full story. The visits and watching her great grandchildren lit her up from the inside out, and she cherished every hug, every giggle, and every moment.
Barbara is survived by her children: Ron (Lynne Wagner) Anderson, Don Anderson, Tonya (Ty) Dorn; grandchildren: Michael (fiancée, Sarah Bohne) Anderson, Crystal Junkin, Zachary (Tosha) Anderson, Trevere (Brienna) Dorn, Tylere (Natassja) Berghuis, Tiara (Alex) Santos, Tiffany Anderson, Richard Anderson, Mari (Fiancée, Jacob Malm), Logan Dorn; great grandchildren: Hannah, Payton and Savanah Junkin, Lukas Anderson, Braiden, Baelyn and Talon Dorn, Myles, Mirryc, Tayden and Elise Berghuis, Todd Anderson, Adalyn and Aurora Anderson; siblings: Dick (Pat) Nonnenmacher, Liz (Mike) Schedlbauer; and brother-in-law, Gordy Stadler. She was further preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lison; and siblings: Ellen Stadler, Bruce Nonnenmacher.
