Barbara J. Hipp

Barbara Jane Hipp, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born August 30, 1964 in Appleton, WI to Eugene and Charlotte (Leonhardt) Hipp.

Barb was known and deeply loved for her kindness and generosity. She gave freely of her resources, always finding ways to help those in need. Her sense of humor brought laughter and comfort, even in difficult moments. Above all, Barb’s warmth and friendliness made everyone she met feel welcomed and valued. Her slate has been wiped clean.

Barbara is survived by her children, Travis; Lindsey (Benjamin) Avila; Brandon (Ashley); grandchildren: Mason, Aiden, Charles, and Dawson Hipp, Ben, Yovani, Amir, Alena Avila, mother, Charlotte Hipp; brothers and sisters: Beverly Schwahert, Bob(Carolyn), Tom(Julie), Lee(Barb) Howe, Jim(Eva), Ken, Debbi(Vince) Mihalek, Timm(Robin), Natalie(Steve) Heaney. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Hipp; sisters: Ellen Irwin, Susan Howe and Patti Deangelis and nephews; Christopher Howe and Christopher Hipp.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the local Salvation Army would be appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
