Anthony “Tony” Maass, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, surrounded by his family and his dog Moana, wrapped in love and the arms of the Lord whom he believed in so fiercely.
Born on August 6, 1955, to Willard and Dorothy (Upchurch) Maass, Tony was a proud graduate of Hortonville High School, Class of 1973. He dedicated 43 years as a beloved employee of Miller Electric, where he worked as an electronic technician.
Anyone who knew Tony was touched by his love for laughter and the joy he found in spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, playing pool and camping, activities that brought him immense happiness and cherished memories.
Tony is survived by his loving partner of 29 years, Patti Zentner; his children: Kimberly (Kevin), Jeremy (Heather), Troy, Tori, and Jacob (Brittnie); and his stepchildren, Joshua (Karissa) and Katilee. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Brianna (Quintin), Anna, Tayvonneh, Corryn, Liam, Kamiah, Quintin, and Lainey; his sister, Patty (Dave); sister-in-law, Terri (Bill); brothers-in-law, Ron (Julie) and Dan (Sandy); as well as many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Dorothy, and his siblings, Willy, Tim, and Lou.
A Memorial Service to honor Tony's life will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, N1615 Meadowview Dr., Greenville, WI. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the time of the service. For those unable to attend, services will be live streamed and can be viewed Here. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations will be used to purchase a commemorative brick in Tony’s honor at Kathy’s House, supporting the many families who pass through their doors as Tony’s family did. Tony will forever be remembered for his unwavering faith, boundless love, and the joy he brought to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
