Anita D. (Clark) Poepke

Anita D. Poepke, age 88, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at ThedaCare Region Medical Center in Appleton, WI. She was born in Birnamwood on June 26, 1936 to the late Herman and Sophia (Schoenike) Clark. Anita was united in marriage to Ralph Poepke on January 20, 1960.

Anita was an accomplished seamstress, where she created custom draperies. She was also employed by FVTC working at the Bourdini Center, working in the office. Anita's hobbies included spending time with her grandaughters, golf, fishing, cooking, and gardening. She was very active in church, along with her husband, Ralph were charter members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville. Anita was also involved in the community, being one of the families to help start Greenville Youth Sports. Anita enjoyed Christmas. Her Christmas tree was amazing. It included ornaments from her travels. Anita also had a passion for watching sports. She followed the Brewers, Packers, Badger Football and Basketball.

Anita is survived by her sons: Ron (Michelle) Poepke, Jon (Tracy) Poepke; grandchildren: Ashley (Cory) Krautkramer, Alyson Poepke (Logan Hahn), Grace Poepke; siblings: James (Violet) Clark and Ganet (Gilbert) Loberg. She further was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Poepke; son, Roy Poepke; and siblings: Marvin (Dorothy) Krueger, Vila (Arlyn) Klotzbuecher. Also, her many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, N1615 Meadowview Dr, Greenville. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
