With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of Angela “Angie” Pappas, age 43, who left this world far too soon after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love, light, and laughter that will continue to shine through all who knew her.
Angie was the kind of person who made every room brighter simply by walking into it. Her smile was contagious, her laugh unforgettable, and her hugs legendary. She had a gift for making people feel truly seen, safe, and deeply loved.
A devoted wife and an extraordinary mother, Angie built her life around her family. Whether it was camping trips, memorable road trips, diving wholeheartedly into her children’s latest passions, or turning ordinary days into cherished memories, she was all in. Her children were her world — and she was theirs.
Angie’s magnetic personality and genuine warmth drew people in and made them feel at home. She treasured her friendships and made time for the people she loved, whether through regular girls’ nights filled with laughter and stories, assisting with youth group, or quiet moments of heartfelt conversation.
To know Angie was to love her, and to be loved by her was a gift beyond measure.
Angie is survived by her loving husband, Mark Pappas; her beloved children: Hannah, Sarah, and Matthew; father, Keith Rupple; brother, Paul Rupple; father- and mother-in-law: James and Joan Pappas; sisters-in-law: Julie (Eric) Ryer and Mary (Thomas) Gritton; along with countless friends and extended family who will carry her light forward. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Rupple.
