Alice A Wilda

Alice A. Wilda, Age 80, passed away after a short battle with cancer early Saturday morning, June 19, 2021.  She was born December 14, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI and married Querin Wilda, September 28, 1963.  Querin and Alice worked together from their home for American States Insurance for many years.  Alice retired from Auto Owners Insurance in 2009. Family was the most important part of Alice’s life, followed by her love for reading and movies, a passion she shared with her grandson Seth. During the summer months she enjoyed working in her yard and shared that love for gardening with her granddaughter Emily. Another one of her greatest joys was the recent addition to the family, her great grandson Luxen. 

She will be greatly missed by her son and daughter in law Chip and Pam, grandchildren Emily (Crae) Wilke, Seth Wilda, great grandson Luxen Wilke, sister Patricia Schiefelbein, brother-in-law Skip Schiefelbein, brother John (Sandy) Paik, nieces and nephews, Lori (Rich) Nelson, Niki, Jim (Amy) Schiefelbein, Kelly, Matt, Anna, Jennifer Berg, JD, Ashley, Jackie (Julie) Wilda, Lesley Wilda, Lacie Wilda.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband Querin and son Greg.

Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Richmond St in Appleton on June 22, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 with a prayer service immediately following.  In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
