Alan B. Blum

Alan B. Blum, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 26, 2021. Alan was born on August 07, 1949 in Stamford, CT son of David and Ida (Dinetz) Blum. He enjoyed collecting and dealing antiques, trains, especially working on the railroad, gambling and greyhound dogs, but his true passion was being a fan of both the New York Jets and the New York Mets.

Alan is survived by his Wife, Barbara (Kleinhans) Blum; Sons: Kurt Blum, Lance (Kristin) Blum; Daughters: Idette (Dan) Adams, Rosa (John) Moyles; Grandchildren: Lauren Adams, Parker Moyles; and Step Grandchildren:  Kaedan, Alexandra, Tristan and John. He is further survived by many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Ida (Dinetz) Blum; Father and Step-Mother, David and Evelyn Blum and his Uncle Irving.

In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton with service and military honors to follow.
